What experience do you have?

I have worked in the health and fitness industry for almost 7years and have been a ‘Personal Trainer’ for almost 4 years. I have experience in working in gyms, training people at their own home and in parks. I have also trained people individually and in groups in excess of 20 people. In my time being a ‘Personal Trainer’ I have helped an enormous amount of people lose weight, enhance their fitness and achieve the body shape they have long so desired.

What type of clients you have trained?

I have trained a wide variety of individuals and groups in the time I have been in the health and fitness industry.
I have had most of my experience in helping people for weight loss and this ranges from small children to the elderly.
For sporting and leisure activities I have trained a wide variety of people for sporting events such as basketball, football, soccer, tennis and even those that have participated in the ‘City To Surf’ triathlons and marathons. I have also trained people enter the defence force such as policeman and women and people wanting to enter the Army, RAAF and the Navy. I have had a lot of experience in training people these types of people and successfully help them pass their fitness examinations.

Why did you become a personal trainer?

Put simply ‘I love to help people’. There is no greater satisfaction than helping people achieve their goals no financial reward comes close to it. You get to see a physical and mental change in the person for the better. To see people feeling confident about themselves and then helping other people do the same is a very rewarding experience.

How can you motivate your clients to achieve the results they want?

I will help you clearly set out what you want to achieve and then identify what it is that is holding you back from achieving that goal. My desire is to help motivate you to break through those past obstacles as a team until you no longer need me and then can do this on your own. Empowering people so they can make a healthy lifestyle a long term commitment is my ultimate goal.

What Experience do you have?

I’ve been working as a personal trainer and group exercise instructor for the past two years. My training environments have included gyms, pools, nursing homes, backyards, parks and bushland.

What type of clients have you trained?

I have trained a variety of clients from those wishing to lose weight to those wishing to add muscle. I have trained clients entering the army, prepared clients for the Kokoda track and even conducted a music based exercise class in a dementia ward.

How can you motivate your clients to achieve the results they want?

I am passionate about delivering the best motivational service I can. No matter what apparent lack of equipment a client may have, I enjoy the challenge of creating unusual and exciting exercises with unusual objects. Distance from a gym should never be a setback from achieving top results. From tyres and tyre jacks to outdoor chairs and wheelbarrows, I thrive on meeting a clients needs in any situation. Empowering clients to think outside the box to achieve their goals makes this the best job in the world.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate 3 Fitness
  • Certificate 4 Personal training
  • Qualified Chef
  • Certificate 3 Commercial cookery

What experience do you have?

Although new to Look Good Feel Great, I have had many years experience in exercise and weight lose. Being a chef around food all day and at one stage weighing over 120kg, I know what steps a client needs to take as well as the hurdles they will have to face in order to achieve their weight loss goals. I have also worked with clients in different types of environments such as the gym, park, home, running group classes including boxing, kick boxing and boot camp.

What type of clients have you trained?

Most of my clients generally want to lose weight and increase their fitness, but I have also worked with people wanting to increase muscle mass, join the police force or the army as well as clients who have reached their main goal and would like to maintain their level of fitness.

How can you motivate your clients to achieve the results they want?

I start by finding out what their main goals are then break that up into smaller ones. That way my clients can look back at their achievements and compare that to where they were when they first started. I also like to mix my training with clients up by using different equipment including medicine balls, ropes, resistance bands and hurdles as well as including a bit of boxing and kick boxing into the session.
